Bookkeeper up to £30,000 + Bens
Southampton, Hybrid working.
We are recruiting on behalf of a client who are a friendly, busy and growing bookkeeping service provider to many clients in the Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey borders. They are expanding the team and looking to hire an additional bookkeeper for the business in their new Southampton Office.
If you have experience in Bookkeeping and of Xero, able to do VAT return preparation, payroll, auto enrolment, CIS and management accounts, then this could be an ideal career move you've been looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate data entry - understanding VAT across different industries
- Reconciliation of bank accounts & credit cards, including Shopify, PayPal & Amazon Seller accounts
- Dealing with payroll & month end journals
- Producing management accounts where required
- Balance sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance analysis
- The balancing of intercompany loans
- Credit control
- Dealing with client queries by email and telephone
- On going support and consultancy with clients
- Payroll experience from start to completion including Auto enrolment (not critical)
- In-depth general bookkeeping knowledge across a range of industries
- Excellent proficiency in Xero essential, QBO and Sage desirable
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including One Drive
- A full driving license and your own vehicle would be an advantage
