Elite Finance Rceruitment are working with a highly reputable company in Hampshire. They are looking to hire a Managerment Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with the business to prepare the monthly management accounts, year-end submissions as well as taking responsibility for the annual budgeting process.

This role will suit an individual looking to make their next progressive step, who enjoys getting into the detail and engaging with senior stakeholders across the business.

The role:

• Preparation of monthly and year end accounts;
• Ensure timely management accounts are submitted with supporting commentary and analysis;
• Conduct monthly reviews with senior managers;
• Take control of the annual budgeting process, liaising across all business functions to prepare the annual budget;
• Margin and variance analysis, providing commentary on trends;
• Work closely with Operations and Sales, providing information, reviews and KPI reports;
• Ad hoc support and project work;

Suitable Candidate:

• Ideally newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or nearing qualification with relevant experience;
• Excellent communication skills and experience of working closely with senior stakeholders in the business;
• Strong organisation and analytical skills, capable of interpreting and reporting data;
• Advanced Excel and all round proficient PC skills;
• Experience in preparing management accounts, managing balance sheet controls and budget preparation;
