Finance Team Leader £60K + pa Global Construction Company

Elite Finance Recruitment are working in collaboration with a global construction and engineering company. We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager, Team leader to manage the Accounts receivable/ payable function and treasury.

As an integral member of the team, you will manage and lead the core functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury efficiently and effectively to make a positive impact on the finance operation of the business.

Job responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury functions
• Lead, coach and develop department team members
• Ensuring company policy and processes are adhered to all invoices before they are processed in the ERP
• Ensuring purchase, sales and bank ledgers are updated on a timely manner
• Management of bank mandates
• Preparation of cashflow forecast
• Develop and improve finance controls to minimise risks
• Development of company policy and coordination with relevant teams to drive the implementation and compliance of policies
• Dealing with auditors and in resolving audit queries
• Reviewing of journals to ensure their accuracy for accounting as per accounting policy
• Assess transactions for correct treatments for national and international VAT and CIS purposes
• Statutory processes including VAT and CIS account reconciliation, and submission to HMRC
• ONS survey submissions
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations and preparation of required schedules
• Other ad-hoc duties required by the management

Within 2 years this role will see promotional prospects to a Finance Manager/ Financial Controller position. This role will be office based during the probation period and will then be offer flexi-working /hybrid working thereafter.
